University Grant Commission (2020) decided to give PT-PCR machines to medical institution

As we now, the corona cases are increasing rapidly in our country. Many institutions are giving their support to hospitals and laboratories. UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION  decided to give PT-PCR machines m to the medical institutions. 

UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION  has said that they would also help medical institutions and medical authorities to overcome this pandemic.

UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION  help medical institutions:

UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION  wrote a letter to all the higher education to set up PT-PCR machines to their nearest laboratories and hospitals.

This will increase the speed of testing of corona patients. UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION  said that all the higher educations in the country should make PT-PCR machines available to their nearest hospitals whether it is government or private hospitals.

UGC wrote a letter to all the Vice-chancellors and principals of all the universities in the country regarding this matter.

UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION  instructed to all the universities to set up PT-PCR machines temporarily to their nearest hospitals and laboratories. UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION  said that all the universities should setup PT-PCR machines by 31 august.

This step of UGC will surely help the medical institutions in the corona cases. With the help of these PT-PCR machines, medical institutions will check 60 thousand more people whether they are corona positive or not.

PT-PCR machines:

UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION  has written a letter to all the higher education institutions regarding this. Hospitals nearly test 1 mn people regarding COVID-19.

The population of India is very vast. PT-PCR machines will increase the rate of testing of corona patients in India.

According to reports, with the setup of PT-PCR machines, nearly 60 thousand additional people will be tested daily.

The more people are tested, the more the chances of end of this pandemic.  UGC Secretary Professor Mr. Rajneesh Jain said that they have written a letter to all the vice-chancellors of the universities regarding this.

Mr. Rajneesh Jain said that it is urgent that PT-PCR machines should be set up in the institutions to boost the speed of testing of COVID-19.

It will also strengthen the testing centers. UNIVERSITY GRANT COMMISSION  is trying to help the medical research institutions and hospitals as much as it can.

PT-PCR machines are available in bulk capacity in the universities. But due to lockdown, universities are closed and only online classes being conducting.

Then, there is no use of PT-PCR machines in the higher educations institutes.  That’s why UGC has decided to give PT-PCR machines to hospitals and laboratories.

These machines will be set up by 31st of this month. All the universities and higher authorities will look at this matter and they will surely help the medical institutions.

Final years exam:

Regarding the final year exam, UGC has clearly said that students have to appear in the examination. If students refuse to give exams, they will not get any degree.

However, the final decision is to have to come yet. But the authorities have clearly said that students have must appear in the examination.

Students of the final year have filed a petition against this order of UGC. But Supreme Court said that UGC has the right to conduct an exam or change the pattern of the exam.

Except for the final year, all the classes are conducting online.

All the universities are trying to complete the admission process and to start the next session at right time. all
